■ Hamamatsu Koho Video Presentation

We show the Video Hamamatsu Koho on an 80-inch projector screen (Japanese). ** This service is ended in November 2007 due to antiquated equipment.

■ Hamamatsu Sports & Cultural facilities booking system - Matsu-Bokkuri

Sport and cultural facilities, as well as books stocked in the libraries within the city can be searched and reserved using a special computer terminal at the Information Plaza (Japanese). Matsu-Bokkuri can also be accessed through the City’ homepage. A user number (free to make) is required when making reservations.

■ Comments to the Mayor - collection box, special paper and special envelopes

Hamamatsu City welcomes constructive opinions and suggestions from their citizens relating to their running of the city. The Information Plaza is stocked with special paper and envelopes for this very purpose. Opinions can also be sent via the Internet.

■ Souvenir Display Corner

Souvenirs from Hamamatsu are on display. Souvenirs are not on sale at the Information Plaza, so anyone wishing to make a purchase will have to visit the relevant shop. We do have a Souvenir Guidebook though, with all the stores listed (Japanese).

■ Passport Application Forms

We stock passport application forms. All the necessary documents should be prepared at the Ekimae Citizen Service Center, which is next to the Information Plaza, and then an application should be made at the Passport Center on the 5th floor of Zaza City’s Central Building.

■ Reading Corner

We have a reading corner in which you can view documents produced by City Hall and tourism leaflets. There are also newspapers and magazine (some in English) and other information magazines, so it is an ideal way to kill time while waiting to use the Internet.
